Red Orange vegetable: 1/4 c

Ingredients

100 ea Morningstar Farms® Veggie Chik'n Nuggets

10 fl oz Olive oil

10 oz Cheese, parmesan, grated

5 c Marinara Sauce

1# 12 oz Spaghetti, whole grain

Method

  1. Cook the spaghetti in boiling water until cooked through with a light bite, drain

  2. Heat up the marinara sauce to 165°F and mix together with the pasta

  3. Transfer the spaghetti to a hotel pan and hold hot at 140°F or above for service

  4. Dip the Morningstar Farms® Veggie Chik'n Nuggets in the olive oil, then press one side into the parmesan, making a cheese crust on one side

  5. Lay the nuggets cheese side facing up, on a sheet tray lined with paper

  6. Bake the nuggets at 325°F for 10 minutes, the cheese should be golden and nuggets hot in the center, 165°F or above

  7. Serve 4 nuggets per serving of ¾ cup spaghetti pasta, either on the side or on top
