RECIPE COLLABORATIONS

Healthy Kids Collaborative

The CIA Healthy Kids Collaborative leverages the combined expertise and experience of members, corporate members, and invited content experts with the goals of discovering flavor and menu strategies, highlighting successes and best practices, and developing training protocols and resources.

One example of our collaborative work is connecting member school districts with our corporate members to conduct recipe development and testing in schools. This process allows our members to gain from external culinary innovation while presenting the opportunity for in school tasting and feedback for our corporate members.

Project Goals

  • Increase partnerships between school food operators and suppliers/associations.

  • Increase resources for school food operations.
