Matthew Poling is the Director of Food and Nutrition Services at Durango School District 9-R. Matt has been in the foodservice industry since he was 15, holding positions from dishwasher on up to executive chef. He has worked in fine dining, pizza places, and corporate chains, among other arenas. After doing a three-year stint at the University of Northern Colorado, he made the move to school nutrition and hasn't looked back. He enjoys cooking for his wife and daughter at home.
