Kim Leung is currently the Nutrition Services Director at Tigard Tualatin School District. She is a registered dietitian who started her career in school food since 2015 in California. During her time in California, she introduced new and local food items like halibut and salmon. Many of her creations were featured in Food Service Management Magazine’s Best K-12 School Meals in America including deconstructed turkey pot pie, oatmeal sundae, and carnitas street tacos. In 2024, she served as President of the Oregon School Nutrition Association and won the President Award of Excellence. She is currently the director for Tigard Tualatin School District where her goal is to continue her passion in bringing good food to the kids of community.
