Jennifer Miller, SNS is director of student nutrition services for Garland Independent School District (ISD) in Texas. She has been with Garland ISD since 2009 and has previously served as assistant director of nutrition and menu operations and as operations training supervisor. Jennifer’s career began in the restaurant industry. During her ten-year restaurant career, she held multiple positions within operations, training, marketing, and public relations. Jennifer received her bachelor’s degree in dietetics and institutional administration from Texas Women’s University and her Master of Business Administration from Western Governors University. She is also certified as a school nutrition specialist by the School Nutrition Association, of which she is an active member along the Texas School Nutrition Association, and the American Commodity Distribution Association.
